Faras Kicks-Off Jump Rope For Heart Fundraiser

Faras Elementary Jump Rope for Heart Fundraiser has launched and ready raise funds and good heart awareness for the next two weeks. The fundraiser was kicked-off by Teresa and Mascot Rory! The Fundraiser will run for two weeks in support of the American Heart Association and will promote awareness of good health and good choices! There will be prizes for students as they raise money and reach certain goals. For the first five dollars that a student raises, they will get a lanyard and Rory the Lion to clip to the lanyard. As each student raises different amounts or raises money online, they will receive another member of the Zoo Crew!

The fundraising portion of the event will take place for two weeks from February 3-17, 2017 and will end with the Jump Rope for Heart Event where students will participate in different physical activities to promote good heart awareness! Our Goal this year is to raise over $1500.00 for the organization. The final event will take place on Friday, February 17. There will be additional prizes for classroom who earn the most and also for the top 3 individual student prizes as well. The prizes are as follows:

Top three class winners:

  • 1st Place: Pizza Party
  • 2nd Place: Wrap the principal in toilet paper
  • 3rd Place: Extra 30 minutes for recess

Top three student winners:

  • 1st Place: Principal for a day
  • 2nd Place: Administrative Asst. for a day
  • 3rd Place: Parent Liaison for a day
